QUALITY

It is a precise commitment of Carp to carry out its activities in order to: understand the needs and expectations of clients, translate them into requirements and operate to achieve and improve their satisfaction;

provide training for its own personnel, that of associates and drivers in order to improve the knowledge of the technical and operational methods adopted, increasing personal and organizational professionalism;

pursue continuous improvement of processes by identifying those that can influence the effectiveness and efficiency of the Quality System; obtain the maximum contribution from its suppliers and partners;

promote this policy throughout the organization as a strategic variable for the company; ensure punctuality and accuracy in the required activities, ensuring the integrity of the transported and handled goods;

systematically review the objectives in order to verify their adequacy and comply with current legislation.

SECURITY

Respect current laws and regulations and, in the absence of these, operate with one’s own standard identified with a sense of responsibility;

provide training for one’s own personnel, that of associates and drivers in order to improve the knowledge of risks and potential dangers to people’s health and safety through an increase in safety culture and the adoption of correct, cautious and responsible behavior, also following BBS guidelines;

quickly and effectively deal with emergency situations, danger, and potentially hazardous situations for safety that may occur during the performance of activities;

develop and implement a specific program to improve the safety and health of personnel and reduce road accidents and workplace injuries;

adopt and ensure the application of procedures for “security” (protection against theft, acts of terrorism or vandalism, tampering or other malicious events that may affect people, information, and transported goods);

analyze the causes of “non-conformities” in order to apply suitable treatments and effective corrective actions, with the aim of preventing recurrence and consequently reducing the number of cases;

Improve road safety by reducing the number of road accidents, also through the installation of electronic devices.

EDUCATION

CARP continuously organizes specific training courses for all people working for the company (owners and employees), aimed at complying with regulatory obligations, increasing and improving risk awareness, knowledge and skills, and addressing issues related to road traffic rules, criticalities, and abilities.

The truck driver is not an ordinary worker, as they carry out all their activities away from a physical location, and must therefore self-manage in dealing with a series of risks related to the tasks they must perform. Furthermore, workers in the sector often tend to underestimate the occupational risks to which they are exposed, as they carry out highly routine activities.

According to 2010 EU-OSHA statistics, the trucking sector is one of those with the highest number of accidents, especially during night hours and mainly because, in Italy, most goods transport takes place on wheels.
